This lovingly hand painted unique design was inspired by my love of Roses and the crisp, clear, bright wonderful colours of Scandinavian fashion and home textile designs. The Scandi Posey Design is provided in a choice of three design image sizes to suit your indiviidual creative projects, as ‘Scandi Posey Grand’, ‘Scandi Posey Midst’ and Scandi Posey Petite' and are all available to purchase from my range of designs. The design was painted from my imagination and was created while I was working with the eminent UK textile artist Sarah Campbell. We were at a beautiful location in the heart of the Sussex countryside in the UK, complete with the sound of birdsong and a warm Summer breeze caressing our skin as we indulged in a glorious time of doing what we enjoy best - painting and creating beautiful things to share with others. The design was created by painting directly on to cartridge paper with fabric paints, along with the love of Scandinavian fabric and textile prints in mind. Then the design was carefully prepared digitally, to provide three design sizes, then further transformed in to a flowing half drop repeat pattern to be used as a fabric of your own personal choice. This delightful, popular design looks super when used for clothing and in dressmaking, and in particular as childrens clothing. Also, the versatility of this design affords it to look equally as attractive when used as curtains, cushions, Tea Towels and Aprons. All tree sizes of the ‘Scandi Posey’ design also look stunning when used with the matching "Scandi Stripes" design which is also available in my collection, as smart pairs of matching Tea Towel sets in plain cotton, and reversible cushions in cotton or velvet, or a mixture of cotton and velvet of each design, and reversible duvet sets. in cotton. It was a pure joy to create this design and all of my designs, and I hope you'll have just as much enjoyment in owning it, and making your own creations with it - Enjoy!
