I have loved textiles in all its forms since, at age 4, my Grandma taught me lazy daisy stitch. I trained in machine knitting and most enjoyed the fabric design element of the craft. I have been lucky enough to work with textiles in my working life, teaching and making. I have recently returned to dress-making for myself and the family. I began designing through Woven Monkey when I couldn't find the fabrics that were suitable to my purposes. I am now combining drawing, photography, love of colour and computer skills to create fabrics I would use in my own projects.
